Normandy Mule
Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
3 DropsAngostura Bitters (44.7% abv)*
2 MeasuresBénédictine Dom (40% abv)*
1 MeasureLime Juice
Top upGinger Beer
0.5 MeasureSugar Syrup
Liquid volume = 188.99ml*
Alcoholic units = 2*
Alcohol by volume (ABV) = 10.9%*

Method:

Shake together the first 4 ingredients together with lots of ice. Strain into a highball glass filled with ice cubes. Top up with ginger beer and serve with a long straw.

Additional notes:

An alternative take on the more traditional Moscow Mule – substituting the Bénédictine for the vodka enhancing the spicy tones of the recipe. With thanks for the recommendation from Adam Freeth of the Shaker UK BarSchool.
